ocr: CONDENSER EVAPORAIOR CONDENSER EXPANSION VALVE As the liquid refrigerant leaves the expansion valve, it 1S at a very low - L - - pressure, SO it evaporates. As this - - - - - - - - happens, it takes in heat from its surroundings, and the evaporator becomes very cold. When the refrigerant REFRIGERANT vapor enters the condenser from the LIQUID compressor, it is at a very high pressure, REFRIGERANT SO it condenses back to a liquid. As this VAPOR happens, the vapor gives out heat, making the condenser warm. COMPRESSOR
